AI assistance proposes information for review. It does not approve specifications or submit government reports.
Updated October 3, 2026
When live AI is enabled and you request extraction, the selected specification file is sent to OpenAI with task instructions. Assistant questions include the workspace context needed to answer. Requests use store=false. This setting does not by itself establish a provider-wide retention or training guarantee.
Extracted values include source excerpts and confidence estimates and remain pending. Check them against the original evidence, then accept or reject them. Accepted suggestions can support a specification change request; the internal approval workflow still applies. Company records and government requirements are not changed automatically.
Missing configuration, provider failures, refused responses and invalid output produce an error rather than invented values. You can continue manual product, packaging and evidence work. Development demonstrations use fictional deterministic candidates and are disabled as production AI operations.
PackageReports provides compliance workflow and reporting software. It does not provide legal advice. Regulatory applicability can depend on facts and legal interpretations outside the information available to the platform.
